PRIVATE INVESTIGATION
Saturday 1st December, 2007
Private residence near Canterbury.

The members of the group Denise, Michelle, Joan, Wendy and Brian
arrived at the property around 6.30pm and were kindly given a tour of
the property by it's owners.
The investigation was to be carried out with all members being open to
Spirit, with Denise taking notes of the evening and acting as Watcher.
Straight away impressions of residual energy were picked up by all,
peeling away layers in the properties history.

WENDY - sensed a young girl standing by the staircase, beckoning, as
if to whisper with her finger in front of her lips.
MICHELLE - sensed a woman standing by the backdoor.
Brian - sensed that there was a Parson in the lounge, taking part at a
meeting of about 8 men around a table,
probably from the Jacobean era, late 1600's.
Michelle - suggested that the house was used as a place of safety to
hide.

And this was before the investigation even started!
We believe the young girl and woman that Wendy and Michelle picked up
on was Spirit activity, and that the Parson was probably residual.

Before beginning the investigation, the group linked into circle for
protection for themselves and the property.

LOUNGE 7.10pm
All sitting, Brian on chair by hall, Wendy on chair next to Christmas
tree, Michelle and Joan on sofa, Denise on floor next to sofa.
BRIAN - This was a catholic household, that held secret meetings
(relating to the Jacobean period).
WENDY - Possibly there was a priesthole in the attic.
BRIAN - There was also a priesthole, or place to hide in the lounge
fireplace to the right and up. There would have been wooden floorboards
in this room, with a rush carpet and a big table in the middle.
MICHELLE - Decisions were made at these meetings.
WENDY - camera began to malfunction and BRIAN had an ache to the head.
MICHELLE - There is a man in the hall, from about the 1970's wearing a
tank top.
WENDY - Also in the hall is a lady wearing a scoop neck dress, with a
blue sash under the breast, probably from the Georgian/Regency period.
JOAN - In the kitchen there is a lady, wearing a long skirt, from the
1940's - 50's.
We believe this could be the same lady that was sensed by Michelle
the the back door. The name Emily comes through.
JOAN - The year 1736 and the name William.
BRIAN - asked out for response to affect the EMF metres. Everybody
heard a distinct bang come from out in the hall.
JOAN & WENDY - saw a lady on the staircase.
BRIAN - a female voice said to him 'If I told you once, I've told you
a thousand times, don't do that'.
WENDY - saw shadow walk from hall into bathroom.
BRIAN - felt cold air behind him, and that it was a female energy.
Denise - someone playing with her hair.
WENDY - felt as if the staircase had been altered. The beam over the
beginning of the staircase was not original and that there would have
been a doorway leading to the stairs. The temperature around this area
dropped and in the lounge also.
As Denise and Wendy started to walk upstairs JOAN felt a lady walk
into the lounge and sit on the sofa next to her.
BRIAN - sensed that she was about 5ft 6in - 5ft 7 in, with light brown
hair and got the names of Grace. JOAN got the name Adam.
DENISE - back in lounge, head was touched again.
JOAN - someone had put a hand on her back as if leaning over her to
see what we were doing.
MICHELLE - saw a car, and old Rover type, cream in colour.
WENDY - got the name of Dennis and the image of a motorbike.
JOAN & MICHELLE - both saw a flash of light inside the fireplace.
WENDY - sensed a man with his sweetheart and the name Mavis., both
from the 1950's. They were young and it was his motorbike.
Everybody heard a knocking in the hall twice.
JOAN - the name of Adam Taylor.
JOAN & WENDY - saw a lady is moving on the stairs. BRIAN - felt a pain
in his chest.
WENDY - are footsteps heard? Distinct as if made on a wooden floor..
BRIAN - felt a draught along his left side.
MICHELLE - somebody lived here and worked the land.
WENDY & MICHELLE - saw Christmas decoration balls on tree move.
WENDY - whoever is on the stairs is spirit, not residual, a white
shadow, female.
BRIAN - she is just being nosey, to see what we are up to.
BRIAN & WENDY - both felt a pain in their head above their eyes.
BRIAN - felt the female energy was very fast.
WENDY - camera went crazy.
MICHELLE - do the electrics play up here? Get switched on and off and
the lights dim?
DENISE - someone is standing behind Wendy to the right of her.
MICHELLE - it is a man wearing a broad rimmed hat, he's tall, could
have worked on the land or have been a priest. He has been seen in
house before.

BATHROOM - 7.45pm
Everybody felt this room was full of energy.
WENDY - the shadow she saw earlier walking from the hall to the
bathroom would have gone through a door on the wall to the left of the
bath.
MICHELLE - kept seeing sheep and goats wool. Would it have been spun
here in this room?

KITCHEN - 7.50pm
On walking into the kitchen it was noted that the door that led into
the kitchen had moved. When we moved it to where it had been before,
against the door of the cellar, the knocking noise it made on touching
the cellar door sounded like the knocking noises heard earlier when in
the lounge.
JOAN, MICHELLE & WENDY - all sensed the older lady from the 1940's or
50's, and felt she was a very homely person, had her hair up in a bun,
wore small glasses with a white apron where the skirt of it came out
into a full flare. She moves in the kitchen and dining room.
WENDY - standing in the doorway between the kitchen and dining room
felt and saw something wet drop to floor, but nothing could be found.
DENISE & WENDY - felt that the Dining room was the original kitchen.
BRIAN - camera battery had drained.
DENISE - said should she put the milk for our hot drinks into the
fridge and MICHELLE heard a female voice reply 'don't worry darling, it
won't curdle'. At that point we all heard other faint voices.

STAIRCASE - 7.55pm
BRIAN - the lady loves cooking.
Wendy - the smell of cooking is following us around. She was the
mistress of the house, very welcoming.
BRIAN - the hub of the house was the dining room when it was the
kitchen.

SPARE BEDROOM
WENDY - The cupboard was something else once.
We all heard a male voice, thought it must have been Brian who was
on the staircase leading to the attic with Joan.
MICHELLE - someone used to stand at the window in this room, waiting
for someone.
WENDY - got the name Sarah.

MAIN BEDROOM - 8pm
WENDY - someone was unwell in this room, a male.
MICHELLE - someone is saying they like the flowers in the pictures.
BRIAN - felt a pain in his head, was it a brain tumour?
WENDY - the name Samuel.
MICHELLE - he loved to take country walks.
WENDY - he had dogs, wolfhounds. Wendy felt that the spirits here were
very protective of the house.
She then heard a sound like the winding up of a clock.
MICHELLE - someone here had a rose garden.
BRIAN - camera lens shut down on it's own.
MICHELLE - someone used to take photographs.
BRIAN - sensed a woman going up and down the staircase all the time.
She was the lady sensed earlier with light brown hair, and she was
wearing a 1960's style floral dress.
JOAN - also sensed a lady  wearing a 1960's pink jacket and a hat that
sat to the side and had something on top of it.
DENISE - the thing on top of the hat was a net veil.
WENDY - heart began to race.
DENISE & BRIAN - both together heard some chattering and a bell.
BRIAN - somebody walked across the little alcove on the staircase
where the angel dolls area.
He was male, about 30 years back. His name was Graham.
JOAN - sensed the lady wearing the regency style dress with the blue
sash. The main bedroom was her room and she was about 20 years old. The
name Emily.
BRIAN - there is a female energy standing at the top of the stairs.
MICHELLE - have doors been heard open and shutting?
MICHELLE & JOAN - sensed scratching noise, made by a black cat with a
white patch under chin.

WENT TO KITCHEN FOR BREAK - 8.20pm
MICHELLE - could see image of horse and carriage pull up outside.
She then went to use the bathroom and a woman's voice told her how to
lock door.
Everybody heard the sound of a dog whining.
BRIAN – heard a lady’s voice say ‘what are you doing in my house’.

DINING ROOM - 9pm
Wendy, Brian, Joan and Michelle sat around dining table and linked.
Denise sat on wooden chest.
WENDY - someone enters this room through the porch door. The
temperature behind her back had fallen.
Everyone thought the house was once much smaller.
JOAN - thought that the kitchen area was once the outside wall.
All sensed that a staircase had originally led from the front door to
upstairs.
WENDY - the man felt earlier, wearing the wide brimmed hat was Thomas
Watts.
MICHELLE - he loved horses.
WENDY - he wore a black jacket with a mandarin style collar, cloth
covered buttons, and the base of the jacket with cut into sections.
JOAN - did scoutmasters have anything to do with the house? She also
felt that someone had their hands on her shoulders.
WENDY - it is Thomas's footsteps that are heard, he also walks from
the front door to the kitchen.
BRIAN - pain across the top of his eyes.
WENDY - he's walking around the table.
JOAN - pain in her right side.
WENDY - is sweating hot.
JOAN - the year 1776 and the names Martha & Sarah. Sarah is the
daughter.
BRIAN - the house had stables attached to it..
WENDY - Thomas had links to the clergy.
JOAN - Derbyshire? another house stood on this site before. A
coachman's lodge - Ostler.
BRIAN - pain over left eye, a tall man, with jet black wavy hair
wearing a neckchief.
WENDY - Dave, JOAN - Stevens.
BRIAN - pain in head, not natural, sensed an accident outside house, a
motorbike had gone past, someone trying to avoid the bike was knocked
down by a car. 1960's.
JOAN - did someone fall down the cellar?
WENDY - felt the house had been hit by a car at sometime. A schoolboy
had been run over on the road, wearing a grey uniform, he looked like
Harry Potter.
BRIAN - pain in head going down side of head into cheekbone, it hurts.
WENDY - felt that something had gone into her head on the left above
the eye.
BRIAN - gone completely cold.
WENDY - a little girl, 6 -8 years old.
DENISE - saw a small, dark shadow move between Joan and Brian.
BRIAN - freezing cold, a male energy.
JOAN - someone touched her hand.
BRIAN - pain going down face was scepticemia, from an accident, head
injury led to blood poisoning.
WENDY - little girl is pinching her. Sitting on Wendy's lap. She moves
things around the house, hides things, then puts them back. Showing
pictures of her toys. Had a teddy with a blue ribbon around it's neck.
She got off Wendy's lap and is going around the table.
BRIAN - got poked.
WENDY - Sarah, Betty.
DENISE - right foot was tickled.
BRIAN - smelt a bad sock smell. Felt a pain in his chest. Was an old
man in his 80's had a heart attack. Not a very clean man.

ATTIC ROOMS - 9.45pm
Bedroom on right as you go upstairs
BRIAN - this was a child's room.
WENDY - baby or toddler.
JOAN - pain in her knee.
Everyone then heard a noise come from downstairs. When asked out to
hear that noise again, the noise was repeated.
BRIAN - no spirit is grounded in this house. They just visit because
they love the place.
The hall light then flickered.
JOAN - saw a light move across from the window to the back.
WENDY - a horse and rider is seen riding out towards the back of the
house.

MAIN BEDROOM ON FIRST FLOOR - 10pm
WENDY - sounds of footsteps are heard on these floorboards, walking
across the room. The cupboard was once a staircase.
BRIAN - the beams on the ceiling came originally from a ship.
DENISE - musty smell, not here before.
WENDY - saw shadow move across shutter, opposite bed, towards tv.
JOAN - pain in head, right side. The young girl Sarah is sitting on
the bed. She loves all the angels in the alcove.
WENDY - felt a tickle on the top of her head. Sarah loves to bounce on
the bed. Does the teddy sitting on it ever get disturbed?

BREAK IN KITCHEN - 10.30pm

CELLAR - 10.50 pm
WENDY - cellar floor has been changed.
MICHELLE - sitting on cellar stairs felt a shudder go through her.
BRIAN - a spirit has followed us into cellar but none stay here.
WENDY - uses crystal pendulum and hand is drawn to centre of floor.
JOAN - something is under floor.
BRIAN - something man-made.
JOAN - was it a well?

LOUNGE - 11.05pm
WENDY - young man with cerebral palsy or water on brain in wheelchair.
BRIAN - pain in head.
JOAN - someone wants to come in door by tv.
DENISE - felt surge of energy rise up through solar plexus area to
heart.
Everyone heard a clicking noise.
MICHELLE - Barbara.
WENDY - a huge thunderstorm affected the house in some way.
Brian - his Guide was preventing a male spirit from coming through as
his head was hurting again.
WENDY - was head hit with something?
JOAN - horse connection.
BRIAN - wound to head, swelling in head, blood clot, blow to head,
accident.

CLOSE DOWN 11.30pm
The team linked and the evening's activity was closed down and
cleansed.

CONCLUSION
It was agreed by all team members that the house carried both a lot of
residual energy and spirit activity.
It is our belief that the spirits are that of the young girl Sarah,
the homely lady in the kitchen and dining room, the old, smelly man in
the dining room and the lady on the staircase. There may be a couple of
others. None of these spirits are earthbound and freely visit the house
and return to the spirit world of the own accord. We do not feel that
any spirit is trapped within the house, and that all visiting spirits
are benevolent.
